Bo’s oldest friend, Betony is also the prince’s assistant and all-around help - thankfully, much like Bo, they thrive on having plenty to do. Ever since a very young Bo let Betony, a tiny street urchin at the time, tag along with him at a huge celebration, Betony found their place within the castle walls and at Bo’s side and never left it. Consequently, they were one of only very few who kept a real relationship with Bo after most others abandoned him for his blemish. When Bo learned he was being moved north, he put up a cursory disagreement about making Betony come with him, but they had made that decision for themself long before then. Nothing is more certain to Bo than Betony’s continued friendship and loyalty.
